Ordering from photo to portrait, the process is as follows –
Step 1 – make contact by email email@example.com.
Step 2 – after the media, size and cost have been confirmed, you will then be asked to send photographs that you wish to be used for the portrait.
Step 3 – photoshop mockups of the portrait will be made on different coloured backgrounds and sent to you to choose from.
Step 4 – to start the contract, you will pay a deposit of 10% of the total cost of the portrait you have chosen. This can be paid by cheque, or by PayPal. If you choose to pay by PayPal you will be sent an invoice which you will pay either by card, or if you have a PayPal account you can pay with that. The transactions are handled by PayPal for your security.
Step 5 – as the portrait is completed, you will be sent photographs of it for your approval – any changes you require will be made. Portrait paintings can take up to 6 weeks to complete, and drawings up to 3 weeks, but this does depend on the demand at the time an order is placed. Period Style portrait paintings can take longer – up to 12 weeks. You will be told the time the portrait will take at the time the order is discussed.
Step 6 – following your approval of the portrait, you will pay the remaining 90% of the cost of the painting. The payment is affected in the same manner as the deposit.
Step 7 – as soon as your payment for the portrait has cleared at the bank, the portrait will be shipped to you. The cost of shipping is included in the price for the portrait, this includes a tracking facility and insurance.
If at any time you wish to terminate the contract before the completion of the portrait, you simply have to notify Clarkpaintings by email firstname.lastname@example.org and any monies you have paid will be refunded to you within 14 days of receipt of the email.
